Big Fish

A bizarre film from Tim Burton that tells the story of a man’s life in a fairytale fashion whilst his son tries to separate fact from fiction. I wasn’t sure about this one at first, but quickly found it grew on me (a bit like the son in the film warming to his own father’s imagination). It reminded me a little of the storytelling style children’s films from the 80s.

Corpse Bride

An enjoyable stop-motion movie from Tim Burton with a very wicked dark humour throughout.
